About Kingfisher Airlines

Founded in 2005, by the United Beverages Group, Kingfisher airlines achieved several milestones within a short span. Based in Bengaluru (formerly Bangalore) Kingfisher airlines is one of six airlines of the world that have been given a 5-star rating by the UK based company Skytrax, which compares and conducts surveys of services provided by airline companies around the world.

Headed by Chairman Vijay Mallya, Kingfisher Airline acquired mergers with Air Deccan and converted their services into its low and economic fare division, Kingfisher Red, enabling passengers to book a varied range of Kingfisher flights. Setting a standard as one of the most ambitious players in the industry, Kingfisher has ventured into foreign skies with the newest additions to its fleet, equipped with the latest technology. Kingfisher flights come with three classes of service – Kingfisher First, Kingfisher Class and Kingfisher Red giving customers a range of travel while booking Kingfisher airtickets.
